Opening in 2015!
The USS John F. Kennedy Museum is planning to open its doors in 2015. Come and join us for the dedication
ceremony and celebration, with live music, entertainment & fireworks.
Tickets
General Admission tickets are available at the ticket sales office or online. Prices start at $20 for adults; $18
for seniors and college students with a valid id; $15 for children under 12 and children under 3 are free.
Military - Veterans, active duty or retired military (any branch) may register online for our veteran discount.
Group Discount tickets are also available for groups of 10 or more.
Audio tour devices are available for an additional $3 each to cover the cost of the headphones which are yours
to keep at the end of the tour. However, the devices will need to be returned to the museum.
Docent Tours - Please try to call in advance to arrange for docent tours.

Directions & Parking
From South Portland:
Cross the South Portland bridge into Portland, and staying to the right, follow Fore St. till you come to the
light at High St.
Take a right at the light onto High st. and then at the bottom of the short hill, take a left
onto Commercial St. Follow this straight through town passing the entrances to DiMillo's Floating Restaurant,
Casco Bay Lines and the Maine State Pier. Keep going straight till you see the entrance to the Ocean Gateway
Terminal.
The museum is just beyond the terminal. Take a ticket at the parking lot entrance and be sure to have
it validated at the museum entrance when you buy your admission ticket. A validated ticket is good for one hour
of free parking (up to two validation stamps allowed per day).
From Coastal Maine (Routes 295 or 1):
Take 295 South into Portland and after crossing Tukey's bridge over Back Bay, take the first exit off 295. This
takes you to the Franklin St. Arterial. Follow this across town to Commercial St. (6 lights). Take a left heading
toward the Ocean Gateway Terminal. The museum is just beyond the terminal. Take a ticket at the parking lot
entrance
and be sure to have it validated at the museum when you buy your admission ticket. A validated ticket
is good for one hour of free parking (up to two validation stamps allowed per day).
From points North or South on the Maine Turnpike:
Use exit 46 (Portland Jetport exit) and take a right at the light onto Skyway Dr. At the next light, take a left
onto Outer Congress St. Follow that straight to the Fore River Parkway (a right) after the entrance to the
Portland Amtrak Station (bus/train terminal) and follow that past the new Mercy Hospital and at the next set of
lights stay straight (bypassing the Veteran's Bridge), and head straight for W. Commercial St. which will take
you under the South Portland Bridge and past the International Marine Terminal on your right (the old Prince of
Fundy dock). Stay straight on Commercial St.
